My Valedictory Speech :)

An exquisite evening to everyone.!

I would like to build my talk today from a passage I took from the Holy Bible (The Word of God), in the book of Jeremiah 29:11 and God said, "I alone know the plans I have for you...Plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster...plans to bring about the future you hope for."
I'd like to share to you something, which makes me smile each time I recall about it.  Three years ago, my Mom (I think she was inspired by God) decided what she thought could be good to me...to bring me to the Philippines.  Yes.... too her, that's what she thought was good.... but uh!  It has never been to me then,  in my young mind.  I was happy in US... I got lots of friends, I stayed in an exclusive private Christian School...practically I had all the things I need and  I want.  And I had lots of fun. So I said, “Why in the Philippines???”
On our way to the Airport, I was resisting.  Guess what happened?   When along the way, we stopped over for gas.  I took that chance to get out from the van and  I walked away...away...away...and further away...to protest to my Mom.  They were scared and Uncle Ray catched up with me, convincing me to get back, and my Mom drove the Van to follow me..until at last I ended up getting back to ride in.
Of course I loved being with my grandma and grandpa, my cousins and relatives here, if that is to stay with them for some time, but  not to attend school for years.   I wanted to be home in US...but that was not God's plan.
During my first year in school, things to me were not enjoyable.  I can't speak Filipino Language, I got no friends, and my feeling was rebellious. Eventually I learned to speak Tagalog, and mind you…even Ilocano...." Pwede akong makipagdaldalan sa king mga kaibigan,   makipag-biruan...Maawatak ti sasawen ti maestrak"  I started to enjoy my high school life with my classmates and friends. So I said, "This was God's plan!"
I'm so happy with the lots of experiences I shared with my co-graduates and other schoolmates.  Besides a strong academic development, other activities had been interesting like participation in Quiz Bee, Oration, Dances, Dramatics, Arts, Paintings Camping, Student Body Organization activities  participated by  students in all the schools of  the Division, Junior-Senior's Prom (Oh how we all loved that, it had been fun!) and many more...and many more...and many more!
How can we, graduates, ever forget those very enriching things that happened in our life???They will now remain as sweet memories to be cherished.
Now, we hate parting ways....but we need to disperse in order to begin the next step in our life.   And San Lorenzo Science School had skillfully given us the weapon to go forward.   Academicaly, emotionally and spiritually.  We were formed with skills and values coupled with  heavenly words for our grip,  when difficulties come.
It is said that "There are those who have eyes but cannot see; have ears but cannot hear."  But my co-graduates are one with me to say..."We have seen the dedication of our teachers, faculty and staff...we all heared them...  All of them  have  brought their concerted commitment to teaching... and they brought their scholarly interest into the classroom.  We cannot thank you enough dear teachers, faculty and staff...for the good things that you have brought into our lives.  Thank you...Thank You...and a BIG thank you!  May we have built a legacy during our time in this school, that because of us and what we have accomplished here, more students than ever, would apply to take the seats that we leave today.

To our dear parents, and family who directed us in accordance to God's plan....We love you sooo much and we bear for you a very grateful heart.

These, we graduates, will promise to you today:
To our Alma Mater...we will always keep in touch.
To our parents....we will do all that we could do within the limits of doing right.

With God's blessings....we will not fail you!

Mabuhay to the Graduates...
Mabuhay to our parents and families....
Mabuhay to San Lorenzo Science School!!!
(Thank you)
